FOCAL's membership constitutes a network
of child care professionals, parents, community leaders; teacher
aids, directors, home providers and others who share a deep, driving
concern for the well being of children everywhere. They are
individuals interested in developing themselves and their
communities. FOCAL has five classes
of membership available.
As a FOCAL member, you will discover,
as hundreds of others have, the unique benefits provided by FOCAL
membership; opportunities to share ideas and concerns with other
child care professionals, effective public policy and advocacy
efforts strengthened by the sheer determination and number of fellow
members, quality networking and training programs pertinent to
issues currently impacting children and families - particularly
those from poor and African American communities. You will
